  1. Past hour
  2. Yes, contact the Community Team and they should be able to get you back into your account.
  3. Yesterday
  4. There's a product center issue with it not seeing that the PC modules have installed. The updates tab in Sonar recognizes it though. The included modules are PC2A and Concrete Limiter. No new plugins were included with the update, but the scanner will pick up changes for XSampler (which builds with every Sonar build) or if anything else has otherwise changed on the system.
  5. Same exact thing happened to me two days ago. I was advised to email cakewalk support by another member. I haven’t had time to try that route yet. Cakewalk is a secondary DAW for me and I’m focused on projects and production at the moment.
  6. Manfred Mann - Blinded By The Light (Originally by Bruce Springsteen)
  7. Bangles - Hazy Shade of Winter (Originally by Simon and Garfunkel)
  8. I would agree but there are important things missing from each of the themes available. The active plugin is only highlighted in the FX bin with the Mercury and Tungsen themes. In the dark theme the active track is only indicated by a thin blue outline around the track #. Tough to find the track in a busy mix. The markers and the timeline #s are the same color and again difficult visually. The contrast in the themes is not great. These are things I look for when scanning a mix. I mainly work in Console view so certain visual cues are important for me. I spent a lifetime in the analog world so the console view is my prefered way to work when mixing.
  9. That must have been left over from the X series, when they switched to the Skylight. Like, over a decade ago.
  10. Hi David, Yes, CbB works as expected. If I toggle on/off there is no pause or glitch in the audio engine. It switches instantly.
  11. The mastering features are part of the Bandlab app.
  12. I currently pay for a BL membership, so this question is more for those who decide not to. The free tier of Sonar does not include Elastique Pro as CbB did (among a few other things). CbB is apparently going to completely stop working next month. If someone has CbB projects that use Elastique Pro, does this mean the only way to have these pre-existing projects sound as they did is to now pay for membership? And if one doesn't pay, the only way to open old projects is to view banner popups/ads that take up screenspace and time? (I, like some others, use Sonar for live performance, so banner ads with time-outs are a problem during a soundcheck or show). If so, that doesn't seem like the way to go. I'd think it would be better to give CbB permanent activation and have faith that the new features and fixes in Sonar will draw plenty of membership purchases regardless. -Scott
  13. I don't know, it's in my latest update. Honestly, this seems petty to me.
  14. "It's my authority and by golly I'm gonna appeal to it!" I do not recognize Berklee's definition (or maybe it's just your interpretation of their definition). Here's some NOTmusic written by Claude Debussy:
  15. The latest I heard was that, although they haven't ruled out the possibility of more user-configurable color customization options surfacing in the app in the future, there is no active development of a Theme Editor at this time.
  16. After the today update (2025.07) Sonar found 4 new plug-ins after the startup scanning it did when I launched it. What were those 4? How can I find out?
  17. I think they said they are working on a theme editor. Hopefully, we can get some more information on that.
  18. Interesting. It isn't included in the feature matrix in this post
  19. There is no Theme Editor available for new Sonar, so what is included in the box is what there is, for now.
  20. Default? I don't think so. Only after you've recorded them. See the Inspector with the "Clip Properties" tab selected.
  21. I'm seeing the same behavior. I thought it might be because I had a previous install with ProChannel modules from earlier Sonar versions. This would still be a bug with Product Center at the very least.
  22. I really screwed up. I'm retiring the old email address I used when I logged into the legacy cakewalk account (Cakewalk - My Account Home) and tried to change it, It said to watch my inbox for a verification message. Never received it. Checked Spam folder and elsewhere. Nothing. So, it appears whatever mechanism is supposed to send out the email verification on that old legacy site is not working or else my email provider is extremely far behind. Now, I am afraid I've lost access to all those add-in products I paid for over there. Wondering if anyone else has run into this and wanting to keep others from making the same mistake. When I tried to email support on that side, that is "Under Construction" so they are not doing any site support there either it doesn't look like.
  23. I don't speak for OP but by coincidence I had just completed my Sonar Premium subscription signup right before getting on the forum and seeing this post. When the website rattled off the list of new features I was getting access to, I specifically remember reading something about "new mastering features" something like that, and assumed that might have been what he was talking about. I don't know how to revisit that page without paying for another subscription 😁 so if any of you aren't currently signed up to sonar premium and then decide to later on, keep an eye out for that and let me know what you make of it.
  24. Well old pal ‘fraid knot. You are definitely not alone in that! You might have missed the first round of grumbling back when they first released it. Welcome to the second round of grumbling!
  25. Ah, brilliant, thanks Jonathan!
