Jim Fogle Posted November 23 Posted November 23 All Cakewalk by Bandlab activations should be expired. Isn't it time to set this subforum to archive mode to stop postings? 1

Rickstudio2021 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Mine is still working too. Not sure why. Everything seems normal except the nuisance messages during startup. I was planning to switch back to an older Sonar version when the time came. There hasn't been an update in many years I've actually needed. I guess that's what I'll do if Cakewalk finally does expire.

Bass Guitar Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Right. I think the other day someone said that it was still working. My version on my laptop died right on schedule. As an experiment I tried exporting midi, nope, drag a midi clip, nope so all you can do is open projects and take screenshots of it to preserve your settings and stuff. I uninstalled it- Good bye old friend I’ll miss you. I don’t care what anyone else thinks but it was definitely the best Daw of all. 4

I hold out hope that Sonar's visibility troubles can somehow be addressed. We've been promised more access to visual customization.

We've been promised more access to visual customization. Me too. I have not totally abandoned it yet because I will be back in a shot the minute they somehow rectify the shortcomings of this new graphics system. No complaints about anything else other than the topic that is censored. I just can’t see some icons very clearly but that said, this is now common in a lot of software. My latest one is some projects would open and the Browser shows the instrument tab highlighted but the list was the effects.
kitekrazy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Works for me. l also reinstalled SPLAT - vintage gear in the DAW world. I have hopes of the non dub option. My fanboyism ends with sub only. I guess our voices are small Edited 4 hours ago by kitekrazy
