JT3Jon
Wow! And interesting they didn’t just give the “general purpose” but the actual orchestral staging version! I do find it weird that plugins given by focusrite don’t have any of the usual registration or copy protection. Worry that they will not be supported or updated like registered users get, but for free can’t complain! Wonder if there are upgrade paths?

audioschmaudio
It seems to be a special version that's only for Focusrite/Novation customers. You can't buy the "SO" version anywhere nor are there any articles about it. Does anyone know what the difference is? Is it like a lite, limited version? I've wondered the same thing, and I don't have an answer. What I *can* say is that VSL's freebies are always worth having! 1

Esteban Villanova
yeah, only comes with the orchestra mode. The paid version has two extra modes. 4

BTP
It said it registered to my email account but license didn't show up. I didn't get any emails either. Anyone else have the same problem?

Anyone else have the same problem? I got download links right from the VSL page. Here are the steps I took: Went to "My Software" in my Focusrite account Clicked on "Click here to get VSL reverb" (my code and my email were filled in automatically on the VSL page it took me to) On that VSL page I checked off the "Accept Terms" and the "Receive Newsletter" boxes Clicked on "Claim" and voila.... download links for both Windows and Mac were available to me I didn't see anything about an email being sent, or that it registered to my email. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I had done that but I assumed that you're getting a license and that the download link was just Vienna Assistant without clicking it.
Esteban Villanova
From VSL: There is an update now available fixing a potential crash when changing parameters using mouse wheel. Simply use the link provided by Focusrite again, you will get the latest download. 2
