sjoens Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Wondering if there's a way to do that, or do they have to be made for the particular OS? My MOTU UltraLite mk3 keeps disconnecting after a recent Windows update. The latest drivers are for Windows 8.
Xoo Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I've got one of these (on Windows 10) and apart from an occasional refusal to be detected on power-on, which has always happened across 3 different PCs, it's not started disconnecting recently (my Windows 10 is up-to-date with updates). Nothing obvious like failing USB cable or reset power settings on the USB hub in device manager?
mettelus Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Another thing to check is Windows settings that may have been reset to default due to Windows Updates. In your situation I would check that USB connections are never allowed to go idle.
sjoens Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 Yeah, I've gone thru all that in another thread. Was just exploring if compatibility mode was an option. Doesn't seem like it is in this case.
