James Morgan
Hi, How can I merge (bounce) a selection of clips from takes (lanes) into a new take lane so I can keep the original takes in case I need to revert and choose another take section. The single bounced version is for ease of editing (audio quantize, clip effects, etc). This is the original takes, and.... This is what bounced looks like (erases original takes) Thank you
Base 57
It's called "Flatten Comp". With the take lanes open, right click the main track clip display. Flatten Comp is one of the options.
James Morgan
Great!!! Just a question. Is it possible to flatten only a selection?
treesha
I’ve gotten into the habit of making a new audio track above my track with all the take lanes and drag what I like up there and leave all my take lanes alone and then archive the take lanes track to keep it if needed. Just seems simple to me this way. Edited September 28 by treesha 3

Keep in mind you will have to unlock it first (Flatten Comp locks the resulting clip by default}.
