57Gregy Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Is there any way to get rid of the Tempo, Arranger and Video view lanes in the TV? Outlined in orange. 1
mettelus Posted September 12 Posted September 12 (edited) In the Tack View itself, the View->Navigator Show/Hide. ALT-N was the default keybinding. Edited September 12 by mettelus 1

57Gregy Posted September 13 Author Posted September 13 That's what I thought, too. Well, they're just a track height when collapsed.
sjoens Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I believe there's a previous post that revealed they don't take up any more space than the same area in CbB, where you have to hunt trial-n-error to find the one you want. 1

In my CbB, they're not there at all unless you choose to show them. 1
sjoens Posted September 21 Posted September 21 (edited) I believe the collapsed areas in both versions are about the same height. So even if the lines were removed, the space would remain the same. The lines in Sonar are only there to help identify where to pull with the mouse. The Show/Hide menu is for the actual track to show as in the lower part of your 1st screenshot. I think the best way to handle this would be to have the Arranger, Tempo and Video tracks added through a modified Add Track dialog. That way you would never lose any space unless asked for. Also, that would be more or less necessary if additional types of tracks were to be added to Sonar in the future. This is how they do it in Cubase. Note Tempo, Arranger and Video at the bottom of the dialog. 1 1

Now I see the height is the same whether the 3 collapsed lanes are there or not. 1
