Francois Samuel Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 Hi, I have 64 bit cakewalk installed 16gb ram i7 processor and I am getting tracks fading out and back in seemingly random places. If I rerun a track the dropout will occur in different place each time. It makes no difference whether I disable all the effects on the track. Any ideas anyone?
Noel Borthwick Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 Hi is this a MIDI project or are you seeing this on audio tracks as well? Are you running the latest release from this month? Im not sure what you mean by fading out. Are you getting dropouts, missed notes or is it that you hear a gradual fade.

David Baay Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 How old is your interface? Sounds a bit like symptoms of failing capacitors in the output section.
Gswitz Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Disabling all fx and problem persists rules out fx in demo mode. Have you tried bypassing automation?
