bmarlowe
I have been using CbB, and just installed the new SONAR (paid version). In nearly all respects I am very happy with it. But... At https://www.cakewalk.com/sonar an "expanded library of prochannel modules" is mentioned, and what looks like the LP multi-band compresser is shown (see pic below). I don't see any of the LP plugins in my installation . From reading through the threads it seems that the LP plugins are only available if one previously had Sonar Platinum installed. Is that right? If so, that kind of sucks because the above mentioned web page surely indicates that this is part of the new Sonar for which I paid. Perhaps it will part of a future release.

Perhaps it will part of a future release. . . . and right below the picture it says: Whether or not the "build and upgrade your channel with an expandable library" means they will be ala carte or part of tiered upgrades, I think that surely indicates it remains to be seen--i.e., something planned and to be made available in the future as you suggested. I could be wrong, but that's how I read the image + text. Maybe it will be part of a promo--e.g., renew your subscription now and for a limited time we'll throw in . . . ., or something like that. Hope that takes off some of the suckiness. Edited Wednesday at 12:44 AM by User 905133 word changes
darthurb1
I agree!! The offered plugins and vocal enhancements were a lot of the reason I upgraded to being a Member!!!
Bass Guitar
On my main computer that has Platinum and all my goodies from the CCC I have both versions of the LP Multiband and EQ On my Laptop that only has Cakewalk and the Free tier Sonar they are not there. It used to have the membership Sonar but that expired a month ago. I had never installed CCC on that machine. I only use it for live recording, not mixing. That would explain their absence. Looking in the Cakewalk VST folder on the laptop where they are on my main computer I don't see them. They were always separate installers I do believe. They said 2 years ago that these would eventually be offered but seems things run a little slow around here these days. Bandlab has the staff on starvation wages I think. 😗 Edited Wednesday at 03:04 AM by Bass Guitar
Bristol_Jonesey
I've had one hell of a job trying to get LPEQ & LPMB installed, so far without any joy whatsoever. They have been uninstalled, entries removed from the registry, renamed, edited, all to no avail Even Noel has chipped in with a couple of suggestions but they don't work. Luckily, this is happening only on my laptop which isn't used for serious DAW work - my main recording rig is fine.
Noel Borthwick
We're actively working on some plugins that will be arriving soon. Plugins are not a trivial pursuit since they now also have to be DPI aware and modernized to fit our new architecture etc. I think there will be some nice surprises down the road for paid members so don't worry.
