Wayne Bangert
I have the paid version of sonar. I just updated to the newest version update. I have converted all my performance songs from Cakewalk/Bandlab to Sonar. I performed Saturday without a hitch. I did however get a warning screen a t startup that said "COULD NOT LOG IN CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION" There was no internet where we performed at. Sonar started as expected. So do I need to worry about being on the internet every time I startup Sonar? If no then what the warning screen?
Alan Tubbs
You need to update your status once a month, so they say. Just be sure to check in with Bandlab before a show etc. where you do have a connection.
Colin Nicholls
The "Unable to Sign In" warning appears to be benign. It's annoying though. I don't really need yet another notification that I don't have connectivity. The only time that toast notifiction should appear is if it genuinely needs to connect to a server in order to fully function. (Oh, and don't get me started about VST plugins that sit and wait during load because they are trying to "phone home", only to give up and continue working as expected )
Studio_Tone
I have a paid Bandlab membership....Is a paid yearly membership at Bandlab the same thing as paying for the "pro/paid" version of Sonar?

Yes, I believe so. I mean, technically one of the perks of a paid BandLab membership is access to the Full version of Sonar (with no nag screen and many extra features over the Free Tier version.) I don't want to put myself up for being challenged by The Internet as to whether this is "the same thing as paying for" but essentially yes. Thanks... my question wasn't worded that well.... but I was offered the "$49 upgrade" a while back.. and as I currently have a full year membership, I was wondering whether I already had that upgrade.
