Yeah, sorry, I was too distracted looking around to use common sense like 'checking the Track Inspector to see if it's already loaded'. Once I remove the Tube Saturation, it then appears in the list, and as soon as I remove the PC4K then both appear in the drop down list. I'd never noticed this behaviour before, as my Cakewalk blank projects just load the EQ only by default. I never realized it was on or the other for the PC4k and PC76 as other compressors like the CA2A +10db and the Concrete Limiter let me loads as many instances as I want into the Pro Channel Strip (not that I ever do). Cool, So all my Pro Channels are there. Thanks for pointing out the obvious

Starship Krupa Posted yesterday at 02:29 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:29 AM Wow, quite the explosion of videos! Cakewalk-oriented video channels ground to a halt after the NuSonar announcement. I know because I search for them from time to time. I guess they were waiting to see what would happen.

Don't know if it's recommended but you can clone the 4 with differing names to make additional copies that will show up in the list - without thumbnails. These can also be inserted multiple times but with have simple control sliders instead of the usual GUI and their title bars will have actual names instead of the generic ones. The original PC76 & PC4K compressors started out as "one unit" toggled by a switch.
Kamikaze
Thanks for the suggestion and workaround. I'm more of a less is more approach, so probably wouldn't need more than 1 instance, just hadn't noticed before. If I needed to stack compressors, or put an EQ before and after dynamics, I have some other ProChannel options, as well as VSTs from the FX Chain.
