Not sure.  The closest thing I found that might be related is this:

Quote

Please note that in order to automatically keep your activation status up to date, Sonar will renew your activation status whenever a new version of the application is installed and run for the first time, and when you sign in to BandLab from within Sonar. If you have never signed in to BandLab from within Sonar, you will be prompted once to sign in.

Does that help answer your question?

Thanks.

Read the forum, it works just the same as CbB except it is a cutdown/reduced functionality version of Sonar. If you had read the release notes you would have discovered that those functions in menus with a Crown next to them are only available in the full version.

Again if you had read the release notes, there is nothing in the release notes that says you are going to be forced to do anything. This is just you trying to stir a muddy pot that does not exist as you seem so fond of doing.

Just like CbB you will need to reactivate every 30 days, which is not unreasonable as it gives them data on how many people are using the free version regularly.
