DeeringAmps
@Jonathan Sasor @Noel Borthwick Boys, oh Boys. Everytime I sign out of BandLab Sonar reverts to this: I ONLY get this when I remain signed in! I cannot use 2025.06 in my studio because I have no internet access in the studio... I am not amused! t
Noel Borthwick
Sign in has absolutely nothing to do with being online, besides the online requirement during the sign in process itself. Signing in authenticates you. You are free to disconnect from the internet after that. Sonar now supports multiple licence tiers that can differ from user to user, so signing out removes the active license. TLDR don't sign out and you will be fine even if you go offline. DeeringAmps
@Noel Borthwick Oh would that it was so. Trust me, after I signed out of BandLab, Sonar reverted to wanting me to re-activate. Gotta run right now, but I will confirm upon my return... Thank you, t

noynekker
Sonar Free Tier ? . . . So, if I get what you're saying here correctly, is I could cancel my monthly subscription of BandLab Membership if I don't ever intend to use the Plugin Oversampling, Track Manager, Jump-to-Track, Elastique Pro stretch mode, POWR Dithering features, BandLab sounds, or more than one Arranger Track ? Seems too good to be true. In fact, I do use a few of these features, but perhaps only occasionally . . . can we opt back into subscription when we need to use them, then pop back out after mix is exported ? Just had to ask
Noel Borthwick
Yes you can - thank Meng, it's not too good to be true indeed. Today, the core application itself is free to use with no track or effects limits whatsoever. Some new features, plugins and BandLab membership exclusives are behind the membership paywall. We do appreciate it however if you support future development by paying for a licence There are some great deals coming so keep your eyes out.

Milton Sica
Here I couldn't download or install it. When I click on the option to download, the application disappears. I couldn't do it through Cakewalk Sonar, but I could through Cakewalk Center. Edited 15 hours ago by Milton Sica

Nope, but in the past, I have always signed out of BandLab before I took the studio rig back to the studio, to avoid this little nagravation. no biggie t oh, where are my manners; Thank You Meng! one more niggle Why does this indeed "Show At Start" when I clearly have not selected it? Heinz Hupfer
HI:) Track Manager: Very Fine! But how to use it? I'm searching for "Strings" so I can see the tracks with "Strings" in Trackmanager. AND NOW? I can make them invisible, change colors, Mute, solo ..... But how to make just these Strings Tracks visible in TV and MV? Can't find out! Saving a preset and deleting these tracks in Track Manager doesn't work! Thanks;) Bassman.
Toy
Track manager, that's good. I have a request. When hiding a folder, the internal tracks also become hidden, but when re-showing a hidden folder, the tracks inside the folder remain hidden. I would like them to be re-shown together in sync. Since some users may prefer the current behavior, it would be even better if there was an option to enable or disable this synchronization. As mentioned it is sign in that requires the Internet connection. For normal use whether online or offline do not sign out, since that unlinks the machine from your license and you will have to sign in again to claim it. Only do that when you wish to use a different use account or intentionally want to remove your license from that machine. 7 hours ago, DeeringAmps said: t oh, where are my manners; Thank You Meng! one more niggle Why does this indeed "Show At Start" when I clearly have not selected it? Certain alert notifications are forced, such as being signed out. Again, don't do that
Heinz Hupfer
Hi:) I just made a new project and added 16 Tracks, 8 for Drums, 8 for Bass. As you can see in the video I can't save any preset in Track Manager, can't make my search visible. Preset in Track Manager Bassman. I expected to search for "drums" and make just these Tracks visible, shouldn't it work like this? What if I add Drum Tracks? Then I have to make invisible all other tracks again to show just Drums...it's not very handy! There should be a possibility to just see the search and then save it globally, not just for this project....Ok, I can blend out not selected Tracks but you first have to select them...I searched for so they are selected... The search will filter the tracks list in the Track Manager (the filter button offers more options). It doesn't affect the main track view. The idea is that you can use the search/filter options to identify tracks you wish to perform a number of operations on. You can then select them (to perform a quick group operation from the TV), or mute/solo/archive/arm/hide etc directly from the Track Manager. If you want to hide the tracks, use the search/filter options to identify the tracks you want to hide, then swipe down the hide icon to hide them. You can then save this as a preset for that project.

I mostly have a big Project template with Drums, Percussion, Bass, Guitars, Pianos, Synths, Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, Voices, GMidi, Effects and some other Tracks, all about 200 Tracks. So if I want to see just the Pianos (4 Tracks), I have to hide 196 Tracks, if I want to see Guitars (12 Tracks) I have to hide 188 Tracks. Wouldn't it be better to do it the other way round? Make visible 4 Tracks and 12 Tracks instead of making hundreds of others invisible? I'm working with Reaper too and there I have the possibility to just see for example all Brasstracks with the word "Brass" in it. (lua script for that) Very fast to work on different Instruments. Perhaps I am the only one who likes to work like that😁 Bassman.
