DeeringAmps
@Jonathan Sasor @Noel Borthwick Boys, oh Boys. Everytime I sign out of BandLab Sonar reverts to this: I ONLY get this when I remain signed in! I cannot use 2025.06 in my studio because I have no internet access in the studio... I am not amused! t
Noel Borthwick
Sign in has absolutely nothing to do with being online, besides the online requirement during the sign in process itself. Signing in authenticates you. You are free to disconnect from the internet after that. Sonar now supports multiple licence tiers that can differ from user to user, so signing out removes the active license. TLDR don't sign out and you will be fine even if you go offline. DeeringAmps
@Noel Borthwick Oh would that it was so. Trust me, after I signed out of BandLab, Sonar reverted to wanting me to re-activate. Gotta run right now, but I will confirm upon my return... Thank you, t

noynekker
Sonar Free Tier ? . . . So, if I get what you're saying here correctly, is I could cancel my monthly subscription of BandLab Membership if I don't ever intend to use the Plugin Oversampling, Track Manager, Jump-to-Track, Elastique Pro stretch mode, POWR Dithering features, BandLab sounds, or more than one Arranger Track ? Seems too good to be true. In fact, I do use a few of these features, but perhaps only occasionally . . . can we opt back into subscription when we need to use them, then pop back out after mix is exported ? Just had to ask
Noel Borthwick
Yes you can - thank Meng, it's not too good to be true indeed. Today, the core application itself is free to use with no track or effects limits whatsoever. Some new features, plugins and BandLab membership exclusives are behind the membership paywall. We do appreciate it however if you support future development by paying for a licence There are some great deals coming so keep your eyes out.

Milton Sica
Here I couldn't download or install it. When I click on the option to download, the application disappears. I couldn't do it through Cakewalk Sonar, but I could through Cakewalk Center. Edited 5 hours ago by Milton Sica

Nope, but in the past, I have always signed out of BandLab before I took the studio rig back to the studio, to avoid this little nagravation. no biggie t oh, where are my manners; Thank You Meng! one more niggle Why does this indeed "Show At Start" when I clearly have not selected it?
