I must do a comparative test between MMatcher and HorNET VHS and ToneBoosters TB Morphit to see which works the best for headphone correction.

Theoretically, my K240's, DT880's, ATH-M50's, MDR 7506's, and Superlux 681 EVO's should all sound the same using these products, which should also sound the same as each other.

Somehow I expect that such is not the case.😄

I need to check this out still. It looks like it could be another "Dialogue Match" tool, but not sure of its functionality yet.

Out of curiosity I just opened the page for iZotope's Dialog Match and it has a 2.03 rating from 32 reviews (ouch).

I put the Melda MMatcher in my cart at Audio Deluxe but not seeing any choice for the "Free with any purchase  : UVI model D or W.A production MultiBender" (would chose the UVI model D). Am I missing something, or how does that work?

This seems to have shifted quite a bit from the Beta version as far as the GUI/functionality is concerned. When analyzing a reference file it seemed to keep shifting back to the input analysis section on me. Just to be sure I haven't lost all my marbles (yet), I pulled up MAutoEqualizer and the functionality worked there (specifically the bottom of that GUI) as I "remember" from the MMatcher Beta. Did anyone else notice this?

just pulled the trigger at AD. Put MMatcher in the cart and Model D popped right up. Don’t have a solution for you, just it worked for me. Contact AD I guess?

btw, received 51 deluxe bucks which is $0.51, towards my next purchase; you do have to use them in dollar amounts…

caved in, first plugin for months, actual useful one and the UVI piano, very good, £12.67 👍

have an arturia piano, but I think this one is better sounding.

forgot what a nightmare installing melda plugins is, trying to install one uninstalls all, I had an awful time previously with a drum machine I bought for £7

took about a day to install the damn thing. 

 

 

Edit, managed to get them going again after about 6 or 7 attempts. I watched a video they have about the installation, they have their bases covered talking about "if there are glitches in installation" do this,  just make a video saying our installation software is rubbish and you are likely to have issues, but thanks for buying our plugins.    People would have more respect if they did that.

they do make great plugins though.

First I had hesitated (because of Melda installation horror), but then I purchased MMatcher nevertheless.

Honestly I completely underrated the trouble with the new installation manager, it is a real mess! It took me a lot of time to update to version 17.04 and install MMatcher on 2 pcs. I don't know why developers love it to make our life more and more intricate with installation obstacles! Honestly IMHO there is no installation manager that makes installation easier for us. The only advantage with them (most of the time) is that you have an overview over the products you own and the installed versions.

Also, I cannot remember a single case using an installation manager without updating itself!

The update manager updating is annoying but once I've set the install manager to only install VST3 and not the other stuff, I haven't had issues across multiple PCs with the Melda one.  And as someone that owns complete, doing individual installs when an update comes out would be an hour+ of my time I couldn't get back each time per machine.  So yes, it makes it much easier on us.

Okay, I correct myself: "There is no installation manager that makes installation easier for the ones like me!"

Second, for the example above (installing only the newly purchased MMatcher): With the installation manager I was urged to update all my Melda plugins, even I did not find any reason for that! And such global updates bear always the risk to break something that has worked fine. If I had simple zip files for plugin installation instead, then I could install MMatcher with the newest version, without touching the rest of my Melda installation. But as always, YMMV!
