tdehan
I don't know what I did however, a MIDI song I've been working on all of a sudden does not stop at the end of the tracks. It just keeps playing. I've looked to see if there is something further down any of the tracks that was introduced and don't see anything. I've checked under Tracks / Options and Stop At Project End is indeed checked. But it keeps play for another 10 measures before stopping. What am I missing? Thanks Edited Saturday at 05:00 PM by tdehan
Chaps
I would check the tracks and buses to see if there were any automation nodes past the end of your project, and delete them.
tdehan
Yup, already did that. There are none.

In principle, literally any event recorded in any format on any track affects the stop of playback at the end of the project, you just need to find this event. Bristol_Jonesey
Use Ripple Edit All to delete the section you don't want between where you want it to end and where Cakewalk thinks it ends
mettelus
Does hitting Shift-F to fit the project to the screen show a track longer than you are expecting? If not, Jonesey's solution above is the simplest route to go with things.
