Also, more importantly, they have updated nearly everything.  The main change is in popups, with lots of bug fixes.  The Augmented series seems to have been updated to v2 as well, at least with the ones I have.

I was having issues installing the updates for Pigments and Augmented Strings.  It could not seem to find installed paths.  Has anyone had similar issues?

The product page isn't there yet but they already show the upgrade prices.

My upgrade price is €199. They call it "V Collection 11 Pro".
I wonder why they added the "Pro". Will they have different tiers, like V Collection 11 Lite, Standard and Pro?

They have a lower version called V Collection intro, which has a reduced number of synths.

I suspect as ever their servers are overwhelmed as they are every release. I was logged in my offer was 99 but when I went to pay it was 699. Now can't login.

When the X upgrade came along, I had V Collection 9. Not sure if I had all 6 Augmented Instruments by then, but X didn't add all that much for what they were asking. IIRC I might have already filled in my missing Augments with the $99 upgrade offer for that set and $199 on top of that was out of my reach.

So now, like many of you, the upgrade for $299 is not all that attractive. It will add Mallets Full and maybe 2 or 3 others that I might use.

Actually €299 from V8 to V11 isn't that bad. You get . . .
• Augmented Series: Augmented BRASS, GRAND PIANO, MALLETS, STRINGS, VOICES, WOODWINDS, and YANGTZE

Personally, I like these especially for some of their creative possibilities.  As for Mallets, I still like the way Chromaphone works.

I am going to hold out for a better offer to add Mallets. Might be nice if they had a special offer for all augments based on a sliding scale.  The more you already have, the less the Fill-in-your-missing Augmented Instruments price.

I looked at Intro.  via the comparison link.  MiniFreak V looks nice and I've been impressed with seen some videos of it in action, but not for $199.

Edited out sections because v2 is a free update

Funny bug at the moment on their website.

They might be having an overload.  I updated all last week using ASC and today I have 37 to update.

Thanks for mentioning this!  The updates/upgrades are free (like Pigments), So I have been giving the new versions a try myself.

Changed wording since the update to v.2 is free for owners of the Augmented Instruments

I have V-Collection X and Pigments.  $US149.00 ($AU232) for an upgrade to V-Collection 11.   Nothing in the V-Collection 11 is really lifting my skirt..   Maybe Augmented Mallets

I downloaded the demo of JP8000 V and had a brutally honest looks at the controls.  When you break it down, it has all the controls of many other synths.  (Osc, filter, ADSR, amp, effects).

I think I will wait for a sale - and even then , for Augmented Mallets.

Not sure how they can call it "Authentic" the JP8000 & JP8080 had upper and lower voices. And keyboard splits.

That's a lot of sound power.
