Brian Walton
Looks like a good bundle for those that don't already own a ton of IKM stuff. Wish the MODO Upright was at the $1 tier as that is the one I don't have and would add to the collection. Pianoverse upright would also be tempting but that HD space requirement is no joke to get a single piano. 2
GroverKen
Worth it to get my missing drum kits and Pianoverse. Downloading now - will take a while though!

IK Multimedia
Also might be worth it for those who would like to upgrade their T-RackS 5 plugins to work in T-RackS 6 as the $30+ tier includes Total Studio Essentials which is T-RackS 6, TONEX SE (which unlocks unlimited User Tone Model downloads on ToneNET), AmpliTube 5 SE, and SampleTank 4 SE.

Starship Krupa
A lot of stuff I have, a lot of stuff I don't have that is covered by other manufacturers products I do have. New T-RackS modules are always fun. Since these are individual licenses, seems like there's a decent chance that I'd be able to give the dupes away....

Tonex SE alone is worth the full bundle price. If I didn't already have 4 copies of SE and two copies of max...via both software and hardware purchases, I'd jump on this. 😂

Turns out that you get a single license code to register. Worth it for T-RackS 6.
ALC
I made the assumption that all my TR5 modules would work in TR6, and I would get all the new ones. I discovered I should've checked the following: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr6/index.php?p=versions Bass One, Delay Lab, Dual Spring, Filter Fusion, Quad Saturator, Triad Chorus are only unlocked with TR6 PRO or TR6 MAX per the chart (didn't realize this was the case). The following are still locked for me: Brickwall Limiter, CSR Room, Dyna-Mu, Linear Phase EQ, and White 2A (I had these in TR5). Is this buggy behavior?

You should have 19 modules with that Humble package. It is just T Racks 6 , not Pro or Max. 😞 https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr6/index.php?p=versions

Is this buggy behavior? The licenses for the individual modules are specific to TR5 or TR6, so if your licenses were purchased for TR5, you aren't entitled to the TR6 versions. That's how it's worked for me at least. I would think that that is by design, because it would amount to a free upgrade for each of the modules, which I don't think they'd want to do (otherwise why bother making new versions). IK Multimedia
If you have a paid version of T-RackS 6, your T-RackS 5 plugins will work in it. The only one that doesn't work this way is the free T-RackS 6 Intro version. Also covered in our FAQ at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1517 My statement that was quoted above was factual, not misleading. 3

I have almost all the modules in T-RackS 5 (but not MAX). Most of them (37) are unlocked in T-RackS 6 (like Sunset, FAME, Tape Machines, White Channel). It's consistent with how IK has handled libraries in SampleTank/Syntronik, basses in MODO BASS, and kits in MODO DRUMS (which I appreciate). 3 hours ago, audioschmaudio said: That's what one would expect, but it was quite misleading when @IK Multimedia wrote: With that statement I can understand why people would expect all their T-RackS 5 plugins to work in T-RackS 6. Indeed. The thing is ... most of the TR5 plugins that I have were unlocked, just not all. I would think it'd be all or nothing. 50 minutes ago, IK Multimedia said: If you have a paid version of T-RackS 6, your T-RackS 5 plugins will work in it. My guess is that the license detection isn't quite working correctly ... I have individually licensed modules, not TR5 MAX. Anyhow, I opened a support ticket. Nitrate Audio
In my case, my T Racks licenses do not go two ways. i have TR6 max and have modules that I don't have in TR5. I have to keep remembering to not click on the TR5 version. It would be useful in IK were to just unlock backwards compatible.

I find it confusing. What does it mean for a T-RackS 5 plugin to be upgraded to work in T-RackS 6? I know for you it's clear as day because you're so familiar with your products, but in my world a plugin is either version x or version y, but version x being upgraded to work in version y - that's kinda unfamiliar to me. Anyway, don't get me wrong. I'm an IK fan.
Jacques Boileau
I would also like to understand this better. From what I gather, compatibility of version 5 into 6 is the ability to load version 5 in the standalone version of TRacks-6. Is that correct? Is that the only thing? Is there any benefit of having TRacks-6 (not intro) when a version 5 plugin is loaded inside a DAW?

Also covered in our FAQ at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1517 My statement that was quoted above was factual, not misleading. That may be the stated case but there seems to be a bug in the license detection. I purchased T-RackS 6 in January and four plugins that I had in T-RackS 5 were not recognized in T-RackS 6. They were Brickwall Limiter, Dyna MU, Linear Phase, and Quad Comp. I worked with support to try to resolve the issue but they were not able to help me get T-RackS 6 to recognize the T-RackS 5 licenses. I verified that these modules were shown as owned in Custom Shop, but did not show as owned in the module manager. I ended up asking for a refund for T-RackS 6 and purchased T-RackS 6 Pro which included the above plus a few more T-RackS 6 exclusive plugins.
