Hi Treesha,  great song / arrangement .. If I had mixed this I would have added a little more to the main vox, it works well given the lyric content and the contra vox works so well, emphasizing the chorus / backing.

I have listened to it a few times now and I think, given your talent, maybe a re_mix ? who knows ... anyway thanks for the share ;)

Hi Steve, thanks for listening and your feedback. I appreciate this forum so much and the advice I get here, several comments to make the lead vocal fit better. I had more trouble mixing this song than any other I have done for some reason, just a lot of stuff in the same frequencies and trying to get each part heard ok. Thanks for listening a few times too. I definitely will remix this and work at making the lead vocal more clear and with a stronger presence. I appreciate that your listens found the song and arrangement great and the vocals and lyrics work well, and the part that I have talent ha. Thank you, a pleasure to share it here.

Whether it's punk or new wave, I thought it was a cool.  I like the overall sound and the effects on the main vocals, although they distorted to the point where it's difficult to understand.  I did find the contra vocals a little distracting, since they are spread so wide and a little more upfront that kind of sound like they are in a different space than the rest of the song.

Hi jwnicholson78, thank you for listening and your comment. I will be addressing the lead vocal to have more clarity and presence in a redo. Interesting feedback that the backing vocals sound in a different space. I think I sort of intended some other world role for them since the lyrics are dark, something opposite of that. I will ponder your feedback when I redo it so ty! Appreciate the perspective.

Hi Treesha! I do like the contrast between the dominate "punk" bits and the very pretty higher harmony.

Good work!

Hi Clint! Thanks for listening and your feedback. In thinking more about it I think the way I made the contrast fits the dark light, pretty/ugly theme of the song/lyrics. Appreciate the good work comment!

Was a bit surprised actually (but maybe I shouldn’t be). Lots of good comments so I’ll just add:
