0 DeeringAmps
The VSTi has to be "selected". I always "bounce" the mix to a new track and export it as an mp3, et cetera. HTH, t

0 DeeringAmps
@Marco Sequeira Checkout the link below, Mike at Creative Sauce explains in all in great detail in his CakeWalk You/tube series. This will be time well spent believe me. You can thank me later... t
0 David Baay
This should work without pre-bouncing so long as you either select nothing or everything. When you select nothing, CW includes everything by default so that;s usually the best approach. If you use separate MIDI and synth audio tracks and select only audio tracks without the MIDI tracks that the drive synths, the synth tracks won't generate any output. That said I generally recommend bouncing the Master bus to a 'Master Bounce' track that outputs directly to hardware outs in parallel with the Master bus (Tracks > Bounce to Track(s) with Source = Buses and only the Master bus selected). Then you can group the bounce track's mute button in opposition with the Master bus to A/B between the bounce and the live mix or check for nulling by inverting the phase of the bounce track with both unmuted. Once you're satisfied that the bounce sounds right, export just that track in the desired file format.
0 Promidi
Where are your MIDI tracks being routed to? If I have a Cakewalk project that includes MIDI tracks that are being routed to a vsti and I do an export to audio, I simply select none, then export. I make sure “entire mix” is selected tin the export dialogue box (which it usually is) Works every time.
0 sjoens
Obviously, a MIDI track routed to an outboard synth that hasn't been recorded to track will also not be in the mix.
0 Sock Monkey
“What am I doing wrong?” This is initially impossible to answer. All we are told is there is “MidiTracks”. And they are not included in the “render”. I will assume that you are referring to Exporting a mix. I can think of dozens of scenarios involving just about 2 dozen possibilities. Export settings, source of midi sound and on and on. Example is like @sjoens is saying. Im not sure if it’s still possible but then again you never know. The mswavetable as example would play a midi track but not be included in export. But without further information all answers are just a wild guess. What do the midi tracks feed? if it's external hardware gear, or external software, you would have to record those as audio tracks within the program with the midi tracks first, and then you can export those. If it's internal software (vst, etc) then the other advice already give on this thread should work.

I would have expected the OP to mention if hardware synths were involved, but you never know.
