Bojan
After the latest update, I can see for the first time messages like "Can't load Module: 'dehaupt_DHTextDisplay' and others by the BitBridge. What does this mean and how to solve it? Many 32 bit VST-s can't be loaded.

You probably should not be using 32 VSTs anyway as the more you have in your profects, the more potential for instability you are introducing. If you absolutely must use 32bit plugins, and you are having issues with BitBridge, then try using Jbridge (Note: this requires a small payment). https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/ Personally, I would be looking for 64bit equivalents. Bojan
Thank you Promidi. I installed around 30 VST-s, most of them are 32 bit (coming only in this flavour). No problems detected, except one which is restarting itself or by the host. Today while trying to install last update, first I got error message "insufficient memory": on new laptop with 1 TB SSD (800 GB free) and 16 GB RAM. But CakeWalk started normaly afterwards. Then I noticed previously mentioned error messages after I tried to install new 32 bit VST-s. Usually I don't do updates if software is working OK (do not touch winning team), but I read somewhere it is necessary to keep product free (something about new backend for the registration). With CbB, yes you do need the latest version (which at the time of this post is 2024.11 Build 120) to be activatable. Previous versions will eventually cease to activate. Try Jbridge. That might get you out of your pickle.....
Sock Monkey
Man oh man ditch the 32 bit stuff in my experience they will not be worth it. That’s like using Windows XP! If you really really want them then use a time machine daw. Edited December 7 by Sock Monkey
Bojan
As I said, I had no problem using 32 bit stuff previously, except one VST. In fact, 3 of them are used to bring rhythm in my song. Technically, 32 bit software have a good support on Windows. Under the hood, it is shifting CPU registers more often, but requiress less memory. sjoens
I've had a few of those errors lately. You could try reinstalling the plugins and then CbB, but installing 32 bit stuff on current Windows systems is becoming more and more of a nightmare. After a few reinstalls with registry cleans everything is running fine now but this is the last time I do it.

If you ask Cakewalk support, they will probably tell you the same thing.
Bojan
Promidi, all installed VST-s are working OK, only problem is to get them synchronized sometimes. So, I don't want to reinstall anything as Sjoens suggested because I'm in process of making a song (only new VST-s are failing, but not all of them). I stand with my comment: don't touch winning team.
Bristol_Jonesey
But if you're getting errors and 32 bit plugins failing to load then it's NOT a winning team is it. In your shoes I would definitely be looking at 64 bit equivalents and ditching 32 bit for good.
Bojan
Only NEW 32 bit VST-s are failing to load (but not all of them). All previously 32 bit installed VSTS-s (prior the last update) are loading and working OK. So, my previous workflow continues, but without possibilty to explore new plugins.
