So I am not allowed to STOP CW advertisements?

Recommended Posts

You give a forum member some power and they use it to hurt, NOT help fellow users-Thanks Wookie-, you are perfect example, You are a credit to Cakewalk and the hell with the forum members.
Why can't you acknowledge my question? Or how about Noel B.?
I am guessing there is NO WAY to stop the advertisements and they are reluctant to say so.

Just say it Yes or no? we already know you do not care about the people that put the $$$ into CW for 30 years..............

tbf, he's under instruction from the forum owners, who don't want to hear negative things 🤷‍♀️🙄

Yes I know that.......It is truly sad what has happened to CW-excellent program for decades and it turns into this................

I hate to say this but none of this happens with Sonar!! I uninstalled Cakewalk last September.
As they said last Spring. It’s the price you pay for using free software!  So I give them until next July .
Personally I would either switch Daw’s or take the bait,   Switching daw’s makes me happy!! Taking the bait doesn’t.

I thought if I paid the $71 dollars to get the CW membership, that little orange thing would stop. It doesn't. I came on to find out how to turn it off, now we are saying it doesn't go off? It says "black Friday sale". Well it's Wednesday now.

It doesn't happen with Sonar, only in CbB

i think he subscribed but the ad is still shown in cbb

That was my assumption as well but not sure(?). The last version of CbB was pushed with such ferocity that I cautioned a few about installing it. The shortened activation window and advertising was baked into that in preparation for the NuSonar release (even with a timer for that pop up before it was released). I never updated CbB past 2022.06, so not seen either of those issues.

So how, may I ask, do you still use it ?
