This leads to the conclusion that the problem is in your specific computer, try to look for it by eliminating different options. 11 hours ago, Wookiee said: Check your mouse settings, it seems everyone else doesn't have an issue. Why does it work in Cakewalk but not in Sonar? With the same mouse settings! Edited December 2 by Andrey_rbk
Wookiee
@Andrey_rbk it was just a suggestion, I was not aware you said it worked in CbB. Consequently I have know idea obviously something is happening in Sonar, but not in CbB, which is strange as I suspect the code is the same if not identical. Andrey_rbk
After a long search, I discovered that this problem is caused by the Arousor plugin (Empirical Labs). After disabling it everything works fine.

Yes, I just checked it myself, and I have the same situation, though not all the time, only from time to time the folders do not open, but get into renaming mode. A strange bug, thank you for paying attention to it, because I have never used this option in all the years of using Cakewalk products, and would not have known about it without your participation. But this is an obvious problem that must be solved!

If you are satisfied with everything there, wouldn't it be much more rational to work in programs that don't irritate you and are more convenient for you personally? 3 hours ago, Enissay Beats said: - 2 we want 3d theme for cakewalk sonar like cakewalk by bandlab The new cakewalk sonar GUI is very flat bad and ugly Regarding the evolution of the Sonar interface refinement, the developers have already answered such questions more than once, and the answer was quite clear: the work is in progress, but at the moment, processing small interface details is not the main priority, unlike the work on improving the engine's productivity and the ability to pull a larger number of tracks, instruments and plugins.
Base 57
I have found a problem. May be just my rig so someone else, please try these simple steps. 1. Create a New Empty Project. 2. Add a Midi Track and change its output to a New Drum Map (any Drum Map, even a blank one). 3. Change the Edit Filter to "Notes". --- For me this is where Sonar crashes, every time. Crash Code C0000005 (Access Violation). I'm not sure if it is new to this release as I am trying out Sonar for the first time, but it doesn't happen in CbB. Other than this, I've been getting along with Sonar very well. Good Job Bakers.

That's where requests should be posted. It's unlikely the developers will scan through all of these threads looking for suggestions. A lot of work is being put into the GUI and one size won't fit all but it's pretty dang good. Edited December 5 by Terry Kelley

Shaan
I am seeing a misalignment of graphics in the Step Sequencer that was okay on the previous release. My settings are both Windows and Sonar set to 100% on display Edited December 5 by Shaan
rusty woodburn
Problem: Loading Cakewalk by Bandlab projects into Cakewalk sonar, some VST synths don't function. The synths seem dead, the interface dosnt seem to be working, I can see the LFO led is not blinking. It is not ALL synths, just a few. in fact, I have multiple instances of the same synth, and some work fine. I have to reinsert the synth and move the midi clips to the new one, then all is fine. so far, I have only noticed this with roland cloud synths. rusty woodburn
The Global Input Echo button is ON, BUT NONE of the tracks input echo buttons are on. Clicking the global button does nothing. The only way I can get the Global button to turn off is to toggle each track echo button until I find the culprit. Then the Global button turns off. Usually all is fine, this happens occasionally.
