equality
Folk or perhaps country and western inspired tune. Found a "lap steel" in an old Omnisphere library. My vocal is admittedly aging and is not under the same control as at younger age. Since English is not my native tounge, I struggled with the lyrics as well. Well, enough of red flags! 🙂 edit: Rerecorded some of the vocals and tried some pitch correction. Edited September 24 by equality

equality
I wasn't happy with some of bass and vocal parts. Made some changes here as well as levels. Hopes for the better. 😏

mark skinner
That was Very Real and intimate. Fantastic job on the steele guitar , it was Very imersive , Soothing and not so country sounding. You presented it well .. it had an emotional feel like a cello does in this type of song. Loved it .. ms Edited October 13 by mark skinner

paulo
When I read "country and western inspired tune" I almost didn't listen, but I'm glad that I ignored my general inner distaste for that sort of thing and listened anyway. The only thing that really struck me as something I would change was that the vocal is maybe a bit dry? If it was me I'd be adding a smidge of something airy to that, but then again I probably always have too much on mine, so make of that what you will.

Country was maybe a misconception from my part due to the lapsteel. I am glad you listened and commented. I'll check the vocal reverb and level. Thanks!
