T Boog Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Why is it that when you type using your remote control on your TV and you hold down the button to scroll thru the letters... it moves at f**king light speed?! Same on a computer... If you hold down a zoom shortcut or something... it zooms in at light speed. Why are these functions calibrated for f**king cat reflexes and not human reflexes? Seriously, how many energy drinks would you have to consume to stop the cursor on the right letter without passing it up or stopping short?! FFS!!! 🤬 1
Amberwolf Posted July 30 Posted July 30 FWIW, holding down a key causes the keyboard to repeat the key. Some keyboards, like the tecware rgb I use (found at goodwill for a few bucks, is worth every penny ), can have their repeat rates programmed. If you have one of these types of customizable keyboards, and can slow the rate down it may help you make an impossible thing into something much more normal. If you don't have this kind of keyboard, you may be able to still decrease the repeat rate in the Ease of Access panel in Windows. 1
