The SSS Bus+ for the Master Bus driven by 2 HRK ST552 Tape EMU
WARM Audio BusComp for the Bass Bus driven by 2 HRK ST552 Tape EMU
Heritage Audio Successor for the Drums Bus (shells) driven by the FATSO
TK Audio BC501 compressor for the Vocal Bus driven by 2 HRK ST552 Tape EMU
 

Bottom is IKM TONEX, Brother Label maker and external CD/DVD drive to the DAW for easy access.

So, all the magic is in the label maker, ya?  Like, if you put "Coffee Maker" on one of the units then that's what it will do, right? 😆

After running kick and snare through Distressor do you also run them through the drum buss and the Heritage? Or you keep them separate?

The first mix I did I put the affected Distressor kick and snare thru the Heritage compressor.

Foot note: the DAW I use allows me to decide the balance between wet and dry for the Distressors. The goal will be to find the right balance between the tracks with Distressors and the pushing into the Heritage.

Are you implying that he's not an amateur tool fumbling around in his one studio?  He could be able to deal with 2,000 pounds or, he might be fruity and loopy!

He must be a pro if he has all those tools, right ? He can't have just sat in his home studio one day and thought that he would buy all that stuff without really knowing how to use it.
