Hi Wookie - really like this, definitly got that Tangerine Dream vibe going on - to me  it sounds like Mr Gull might be having a hard time in this track!!!!!

Cool stuff my friend

Personally, I have long thought evolving textures and arps/sequences/beatz went well together when properly layered with progressive development as you've demonstrated here.  Nice one here!!!!  Thanks for sharing.

The Gull is resting from his success, thinking what could be next.

This was totally unexpected I was noodling around with Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular, like you do, and came up with an interesting drone base.

Stuck it into Sonar then, added impOSCar 3 along with the OB-X . Then things started to fall into place. Added the DMX for some percussion and the MiniBrute for some basic bass pulsing.  Two hours later I had a tune. Few more hours refining the mix total time four hours from silence to this.

Thanks for the ears, time and continued support.

Great when those drum fills come in - mix is very cool.  This sounds like it was a lot of fun to put together.  I love when the arpeggio type notes go down one lower than you think they will.

Thank you Steve, it was fun, especially as it just fell out of the paws.

Thank you Lynn, sorry for being slow, I have been struck down with some lurgy, not Covid, but I have spent the last week in bed, sleeping ?

Wow, very impressive take on the Berlin sound, my friend!  Didn't expect the cymbal crashes that fit in so nicely with the outstanding drum track. One of your best I think.

Thanks Bjorn, nice to know it worked for you. GForces DMX Oberheim drum machine is a powerful tool.

I love the way you build these tracks in layers - I've experimented doing similar things and I just end up with chaos.

Great skill to know the difference between what works and what doesn't.

Hope the lurgy clears up soon, Mrs AndyB01 and I are just recovering from something similar.

I get some Jean-Michel Jarre vibes from this. Interesting harmonies and sounds. The whistle sounds a bit harsh on  at least my ears, probably an easy eq-thing to fix. I also noticed those drum fills. nice!
