Sander Verstraten Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 I might just buy 2 and just register one now ...

So I told them to ditch the rhubarb and the stealthily added rhubarb coulis. Heaven after that. Two little ***** of cream.
Vernon Barnes Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Well, I just WUPed ny Studio 4 licence while the WUP is half price. I have not really got the hang of Bitwig yet so I need to do a bit of studying. I do like the idea one can exchange project data with Studio One using DAWProject. 1
kitekrazy Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Almost tempted to get another DAW I wont use. I don't like their Waves type of licensing. 1

Which does not work at all in my experience. I lost a lot of automation, MIDI and MPE information in the process and the bus routing gets all f-ed up. It sounds like a promising feature but it doesn’t work except maybe for really simple projects.

kitekrazy Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 So for the person who as everything not Bitwig does the Bitwig Studio Essentials make sense. I'd prefer non fanboys to comment.

It might make more sense to buy Ableton Live 12 Intro on Knobcloud! 1

Bapu Posted May 13, 2024 Posted May 13, 2024 My v5 license is now valid through 23 Oct 2025 with a one year update plan purchased from Thomann. According to the @Fleer history lesson: Bitwig 5.0 June 29, 2023 (beta April 11) Bitwig 4.0 July 13, 2021 (beta May 27) Bitwig 3.0 July 10, 2019 (beta May ? Bitwig 2.0 Feb 28, 2017 (beta) I'm (possibly) good through all of the v5 lifecycle. What is the typical version upgrade price for Studio? I've only jumped on board at version 5. 1 1

I think the regular sale is 30-33% off. You should be in the clear to also receive v6 | Summer 2025 most likely Edited May 13, 2024 by Solidos 1
