NOT A DEAL: Looking for Foley Sounds

Hi all,

 

I've started to some sound and music for short animations of a friend of mine.

I was wondering if anyone could give me advise on getting foley sounds ( apart from recording them myself).

I believe Adobe has a free to download huge foley soundbank. I'm not sure about the rights to use it (commercially) though.

@Sander Verstraten There's also Sound Particles' Explorer SFX Cloud specifically made for film folk and the like with over 100.000 sound effects. It costs $19.99 a month though.

Yes! That's the one. The thing that caught my eye in the EULA is:

I'm not shure about that last line. What do they mean with not claiming trademark rights in derivative works? Would that mean if you slightly alter the samples and try to sell them as your own (understandable), or are they being deliberately broad and could they say that any use is a derivative work?

I don't know if the offer was still up, but there were around 1+ TB of foley sounds available to download at some stage.

Record some sounds with ur microphone when u r in a fight with ur wife , they will be much more realistic than those of Boom library
