Recommended audio .ini settings

I can not export a song I am working on. Medium low track count 47. I think has too many plugins.  I know that’s my fault.  What audio ini settings can I change to help the plugins have more of what they need to help export this song. I keep getting a partial export  All instruments have been frozen, all tracks with plugins have been frozen .

audio max= 73

engine = 76

CPU i7 (older) 2.7 ghz

20 gig memory

exporing to SSD

Any tweaks would be appreciated.

edit:

64 bit processing off

This shouldn't be giving you a dropout during export at all.

What does your export dialogue window look like?  Especially, what does Bounce Buffer Size (ms) look like? I usually have mine on Playback Size but you might have better luck if you change that to a higher value.

Failing that, is there a tick in 64-bit Engine? Take it out to test.

Can you do a Render in Real-time?

Take some of the load from the export process by prepping the tracks in advance

Freeze or bounce+archive+(disconnect sample synths too) is the solution if "too many plug-ins" is the problem.

Bounce buffer is playback. 2048

64 bit is unchecked

I finally got an export  I don’t know why.
Real-time usually works on large songs

Solution was real-time plus hear audio

Are there audio.ini or other tweaks that would help plugging laden projects

Do you mean to freeze the v instrument,  then copy audio to clean track. Then archive instrument track?

You may copy the audio from a frozen track if you wish but it is not necessary,

Depending on the options, freeze performs the follow steps

  • render audio in the instrument/synth track
  • bypass FX plug-in
  • archive the MIDI track
  • disconnect synth plug-in

A manual bounce places audio in a new audio track

An idea come to mind would be to export all tracks, midi and audio, as stems. Choose the “Tracks “ as the export.
You can also choose to include or not include effects and automation this way. This is what would be important. There will be tracks you want this and some you don’t so it might take 2 passes.
This will create clean audio tracks that you will bring back into a second copy of the project and track by track replace them.
The new project will require way less processing if you do this correctly.

Song won’t play at a lower setting ☹️

I would suggest there is something seriously wrong if you cannot even play a 47 track project.

My old XP machine with 4Gb RAM would and did play back 75 track projects, complete with all manner of FX plugins, unrendered V-Vocal clips, un-bounced VSTi's
