RSMcGuitar
Bit underwhelming, honestly. This jumps out as interesting: "Improved naming and numbering of Takes on Layers"

This jumps out as interesting: "Improved naming and numbering of Takes on Layers" This was also my impression, but it has some nice small tweaks, ie. stretching automation with MIDI. I will try it out and see if everyday work gets easier. And as far as I am concerned, I think I don't use more than 30% of what S1 can do.
lawajava
Scale highlighting and scale coloring in Note Editor! I requested that over and over again and now it’s there! I am excited! This is going to be great!!! Mute/solo link between folder tracks and linked busses!! That’s a plus! Yay! I have found naming/numbering confusing in the past. I will be doing just that on 29 July.

burtles101
I am happy to see, "Independent editing of Takes on Layers, Additional tools on Layers (Eraser, Paint, Mute, and Bend Tool) and Move and copy ranges between Layers." I work with vocals quite often and always wished that I could edit the layers instead of always having to bounce them out first. Edit: I was just made aware of how useful the auto zoom setting would be after watching Jonny Lipsham's video on YouTube. That saves me an extra second or two from always having to use my shortcut to zoom out in order to see my entire song structure. PhonoBrainer
Being able to edit the layers inside of the takes??? What a wonderful idea, and a ginormous rabbit hole! Beware! And the linking of mute/solo between folders and tracks and busses was sorely needed. Kudos.

Renaming it makes sense. PreSonus Sphere was always a bad name, as it never really indicated what exactly the subscription was about. I still think PreSonus is more well-known for their hardware than their software - in the grand scheme of things. This removes all of the ambiguity, even if it's a bit cookie cutter.
Brando
I still wish I could just subscribe to the “+” part. Never made sense to me as an owner of Studio One, Notion, Progression, Batch Converter, etc why I would want to subscribe at full rate to something that is largely what I already have. And would want to keep access to should circumstances change and I want to unsubscribe.
fret_man
Still waiting for proper MPE implementation. I'd love to use my Jamstik w/ Amplesound in Studio One, but Studio One doesn't receive the MPE MIDI correctly. I've already submitted the request.

You're not gonna get much more bland than adding "plus" or other postfix moniker than that. Unless you name your subscription service "creative something" or "creative access." If you have the production software already, you really aren't missing much of anything... Maybe the FAT Channel modules and Mix Engine FX... Not deal breakers by any stretch but never made sense to me that Presonus doesn’t make them available as rental as that is the stuff I am unlikely to purchase unless it turns out to be indispensable down the road. SSD drives are too cheap to put much stock in it for that reason. Unironically, the stuff that Studio One ships with has the stuff I am most likely to reach for, like Impulse Responses for Open Air. Maybe I need to try the Mix Engine FX to see how good those are. I'm not that interested in Fat Channel, though it does come with the benefit of being usable in other DAWs. I'd probably subscribe to Waves if I just wanted those types of plug-ins. The only use for Notion is as a way to get Notation into Studio One due to its lack of MusicXML Import. That I do consider a waste of disk space, since it is so useless, IMO (the desktop software and its Sound Libraries). I usually use my normal notation program (Finale in my case) and export MIDI from that. I can then click drag the MIDI into an empty Studio One track and there it all is! I work differently in that I write in the DAW, either recording MIDI or in the piano roll or score editor. I then send tracks to Notion to create a score for colaborators. I find it excellent as chords from the chord track and any lyrics are transfered across seamlessly. I have not really looked into transferring in the opposite direction.
