Putumayo Presents - Brasileiro

Putumayo usually has well produced recordings of music I've never heard before from artists I don't know and most of them are from foreign (to me) countries. I'm exploring this as I type. So far, not bad at all.

"Llorando" - Rebekah del Rio

Roy Orbison's "Crying" in Spanish with nothing but the singer washed in reverb. It's delightful. I saw the movie "Mullholand Drive" long ago and IMO this was a great segment a mediocre movie. Her expression, nuances and control are extraordinary.

Getting to quite enjoy this. Mind you, to my ears it does sound a bit 'squashed' - not Death Magnetic squashed, but there doesn't seem to be much dynamic thingy in the production.
