Notes_Norton
Talk about great covers. Ben E King did a fine job on this song, but Tom Jones knocked it out of the park. I used to listen to them as well as the Mills Brothers since my dad liked them a lot (he loved vocal harmonies). That introduced me to swing music and still love it. Notes_Norton
Great take on a Louis Prima song. We do that one at gigs, but instead of two guitar solos, I do two wind synth solos, one emulating a muted trumpet and the other a tenor sax (and try to play in the style of Sam Butera). Mesh
Of course this isn't (quite) swing, but the swing factor is definitely present (especially during the break) and one of the reasons I like DLR's style.

Vernon Barnes
More listening ahead of a gig at the weekend. This one is relatively local in Totnes in a small club.
