I really dislike 2019/07 update.

Every thing is more difficult to manage beginning with the new Smart tool that I don'y really like.

Ripple Edit doesn't work as before.

AD2 really unmanageble.

Who the hell asked these changes?

Please tell me the way to come back to 2019/05. Thanks.

It seems to me the default behavior of Smart tool in 2019.07 is pretty much unchanged  in most contexts except that you might want to disable 'Set During Playback' for Click Behavior in the Track View Options menu.

You'll need to clarify 'Ripple Edit doesn't work as before' and 'AD2 really unmanageble' with examples.

Actually, members have asked for different or added functionality of many of the tools and features in Sonar and Cakewalk over the years. I'm sure once you get used to the way things work it will seem natural.

Easy, restore a recent disc image. You do backup your drive(s) regularly, right?

It would be more useful if you took the time to explain what you don't like
The smart tool works exactly like it did before by default.
There are no changes to ripple edit in this release.

The problems that I have described luckily happened only in one project, maybe because of a  fault of mine.
