mark skinner Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Is there a place in my files I can find the date of my last install . I seem to be overlooking it. I have to move my pc for internet access and just don't want to be surprised again by demo mode. Thanks ... mark
0 msmcleod Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Go to Apps & Features in the Windows Control Panel, then scroll down to view everything installed - it should tell you when you last installed CbB:
0 HIBI Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 @msmcleod Seems that date at Apps & Features is installing date with full installer not differential installer.
0 chuckebaby Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 I believe you can go to... C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core and check the time stamp.
0 Jim Fogle Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 @mark skinner, Go to "Help" > "About Cakewalk" The version number includes the year and month the version is released. The first four digits are the year while digits five and six indicate the month. In the example below the version is 2019.07. The other information given on that line is build number (79) and that it is 64 bit In another post the Cakewalk by Bandlab developers indicated offline computers need to "touch home" a minimum of every six months, or twice a year, to prevent dropping into demo mode so this installation should be good until February, 2020. I would run BandLab Assistant in January, 2020 just to have a little cushion.
