@pedant or pedwal or wally wally whatever you are calling yourself this nano second. The spam is being dealt with. I would point out I am not the only moderator. There are supposedly moderators on every continent on planet earth, possibly some of the minor islands too. So if you are going to call on me why not call on them all?

i guess because you're the most visible/engaged 🤷‍♂️ nothing personal, i also tagged the most visible/engaged "staff"

i chose to alert you guys to the spam this way, as it would've taken two days to report each post, and you know well that i've been a good spam reporter over the years/decades

how long will this spam be being dealt with, do you think?

I started yesterday at 08:15 HRS BST, before my breakfast, at that time I made a request for more keywords to be added, which is tricky as choose the wrong ones and the wrong posts get flagged.

I then continued, with a few breaks, until I retired to my bunk at 00:45 hrs BST.

I then resumed again at 08:25 hrs BST this morning,  again before breakfast, until I went for my heart exercise. On returning I resumed.

When will it stop when the spam bots get moved to another server to attack.

i appreciate your efforts in this, but it's not about keywords, it needs something doing on the server level (blocking IPs for example) which i understand you have no access to

but mate, this is the only form that suffers so badly from this, someone back at base isn't on top of it

I have been advised steps are being taken at a server level to deal with the source of the problem.
