bjornpdx Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Asha I've always liked the mystical sound of Indian music so here's another attempt to sound like a sitar. I used midjourney to create the still images in the video. If you don't know, midjourney is an AI site where you type in some text and it returns an image. Not bad except for the occasional results of people with 3 arms and weird fingers. Indian instruments from NI India library. Indignus Renegade Falcon Thanks for listening/comments. -Bjorn 5 1
KSband Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 You certainly got the Indian vibe going on, sounds good. 1
Kevin Walsh Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 I just closed my eyes and drifted down the Ganges. Sounds are great and yes you got the Indian vibe but have blended it well with a stong Western sensibility. Love this. 1 1
Makke Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Good job! Video and music go well together. The pleasant soundscape with indian vibe. ? 1
RikF Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Hi Bjorn, nice one, certainly captures an indian mood, lovely sounds. Rik 1
mark skinner Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Bjorn , Very Cool . Loved the tabla drums. They were Very convincing. I also enjoyed the video. I've tried a few of those AI sites and you can really lose track of time playing with them. I once traded a double necked guitar for a sitar. I honestly can't remember what I did with it. Sure wish I still had it .. Enjoyed that .. mark 1
SUPAREELS Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Well up to your high standard Bjorn, only nit that I thought the Sitar was just a bit to high in the mix but it's a very small nit. ATB Steve 1
freddy j Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Excellent! The images work and the music is perfectly matched. You not only captured the sounds of India but you also brought back a wee bit of the sound of the "60's (for those of us that are old enough to remember. 1
steve@baselines.com Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Very good trance feel to this- loved it. Thanks for the heads up on midjourney - I tried to do it with just chatgpt without success - gonna give this a try. Steve 1
FreeEarCandy Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Big space! You have captured the sitar in my opinion. But even so, there is much to be said about the percussions too. Cool video, but I think the girl in the lotus position was facing the wrong way. As always, fine work! 1
Bajan Blue Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Hi Bjorn Really love this - sounds beautiful and you have done a great job on the video Really cool Nigel 1
Larry T. Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Video: interesting, well done journey Music: Really shines, slowly unraveling, you made excellent choices introducing new elements as the music moves forward. I might bring the vox down a bit as it enters the picture. Production and mix sound great ???? 1
Lynn Wilson Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Terrific, Bjorn! You make it seem so easy, but I know how much work goes into something like this. Very cool! 1
