Durdle Door and a COMPETITION

And now for something completely different, as the saying goes!

The fifth track off our Indelible Stain album and a COMPETITION!!

The track is Durdle Door – now a strange title I know, but Durdle Door is basically a travelogue of where I was taken for holidays when I was young – unless you know the County of Dorset in the UK, the place names might not mean much, but if you follow the track, the names should jump out!

And the whole album is available on Spotify

We’ve update our website as well – we’ve got our own store now where you can get music and merchandise!!

Hope you enjoy the video

Ha nice one Nigel - enjoyed the listen - great vid too.

If I'm suitably inspired, perhaps I should write a song commemorating my completion of the Wales Coast Path (all 900 miles of it), but not sure I can spell all those Welsh place names.

And anyway - what rhymes with Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. ?

Durdle door is a good one Nigel... good catchy pace with clear vocals and smooth rhythm... ?

Hi Nigel. Enjoyed both the music and images very much. I love that tambourine! First time I've heard one in a song in quite awhile. I may have added some female harmonies on the vox to create some soaring sonic spaces as the words are good and to the point ????

Hi Andy - I think trying to rhyme Welsh place names might just be a challenge too far!!!

Thanks for the kind comments

Always appreciated

I thought it was Dumbledore on 1st read, but nothing Harry Potter in the vid.
I love travel videos of places I've never been and probably never will. Just excellent production here, the video and the music and the horizons were all level.  One of your best Nigel!

A personal retrospective, I love it. The video takes it to the next level (note gents, I have the disc). And that sax!!!

Great professionally produced track. I loved the sax solo, but the whole thing has got a great rolling vibe going on. As a boy I spent many a holiday at Lyme Regis with my parents back in the 60s and early 70s. All those fossils on the beach. Lovely theme for a lyric, I really enjoyed this.

This is a bit different from what you have been posting.  However, it shows the excellent productions (musical and visual) that you have been posting on this forum.

Love the sax in this.  If I were a younger man, I might try seeing if I could manage a sax.  This was a treat in viewing and listening.
