Markers just wont delete ??

Hi chaps , this must be easy but its driving me mad after adding markers to verses, chorus. etc somehow they have doubled up now and i just want to delet the ones I dont need  , Ive deleted the names of these markers but after right left  clicking   the flag stays  in the window just making a mess of my organised work , I´m scracthing my head on this .please put me out of my misery ..cheers P

Hi Paul.

Go to Views menu > Markers to display a list of all of the markers in your project

To delete a marker, highlight it by clicking on its entry in the list, in the list then press the delete key on your keyboard.

Double clicking an entry in the list allows you to edit the marker's name/time etc.

Another way to delete a marker:

Press and hold the Delete key and left-click the marker.

 Yeah , it used to be Real easy to delete a marker. Right click it and the option to delete it would pop up. I believe this got changed with the new markers view , sure wish it would be brought back. I'm going to try the @Tim Elmore suggestion even though it sounds a little dangerous...

Hi guys easy when one knows how  thanks for the info  , I was copying and pasting so the markers were also being kopied , hold right click hold and delete key cheers all

Consider skipping markers in the first place.

The copy/ paste special dialogs have options for markers.
