cclarry Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 We have just released the new HATEFISh RhyGenerator. HATEFISh RhyGenerator is a step sequencer designed around the concept of "euclidean rhythm", a clever algorithm that allows you to evenly distribute beats inside a certain number of steps allowing you to create complex rhythms and interesting variations. RhyGenerator gives you endless possibilities with up to 16 different sequencers with 5 different modes and 32 maximum steps each. RhyGenerator is available now for just 14,99€ (about 16.68 USD) on www.hornetplugins.com Oh and on every plugin we make we offer 100% money back guarantee within 15 days from purchase if you are not satisfied! Fleer Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 And I do (hate fish) but for some sole (meunière) or maybe cod. 1
Matthew Sorrels Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I'd love to see a video of this before I buy it. The UI seems to lack features I think I'd want, makes me leery about how useful it would be. I'd love to hear some details after you look at it @Grem

But it may not be till later today, likey tomorrow before I can get to it.
craigb Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Got the email about it this morning. An interesting concept, but the initial features look limited. I'm curious to hear the "Grem Review" too! ? 1
Paul P Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 For the general idea of multilayered 'polygonal' rhythms, check out this free sequencer XronoMorph : https://www.dynamictonality.com/xronomorph.htm

At the moment, it doesn't appear to work in bB or SO4. I tried and tried to get it to do something and just couldn't. The manual is essentially what you see on the website page. Went to the site to look for videos and found none. So I just took a chance on the FB page and that's when I saw that another person was having the same issue as I was, except he was using Studio One. The only reply we got was "We are shooting a video tutorial Monday" which ain't helping me now. : ( So my recommendation right now is hold off on your purchase if interested. 1 1
craigb Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Bummer, but a very helpful review none-the-less! ? 1
Matthew Sorrels Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 A user on KvR made a video of HATEFISh Convinced me to buy HY-Plugins HY-SeqCollection2 https://hy-plugins.com/product/hy-seqcollectionwinmac/ which is on sale at KvR and ADSR for $39 (try the demo) It's crazy complicated and perhaps not a good comparison to HATEFISh, since simple can sometimes be better. At least for me the demo of SeqCollection2 sold me that the more expensive and powerful MIDI sequencer was the better choice. If you have the full version of NI Reaktor there are a number of euclidean sequencers that can be downloaded from the user library. I've played around with Euclidean Polyplexor v1.5 and it looks like there is now a version 2 (never can keep up with Reaktor stuff) https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/9285/ https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/12031/ 4
