James G Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 I'm still only seeing 19 threads. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
Kurre Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 If this board have the ability to do it i would like to have "hidden" as a choice for text in my post. Sometimes you want to wait a bit with the answer. People reading the post will have to make that extra step to click on that "hidden" marking to see the text within. I do not have a use for it just now but as i have used it in other forums, there surely would be a need for it in the future.

Hmm, I'm definitely seeing 40 posts per page (topic + 39 responses). What browser are you using? Anyone else not seeing 40 posts/page?

Jesse Jost Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 Just now, Kurre said: I don't see the new 40. Browser?
Jesse Jost Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 @Kurre Indulge me - how posts do you see on this page? If this ends up being a Win 7 thing, maybe try IE just for grins.
Kurre Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Sorry, had to get a bite to eat. Exactly 40 posts. PS. Went down to songs right now and it still is 20. Edited January 21, 2019 by Kurre Addition.
Jesse Jost Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 Ah, we're comparing apples to oranges. Post count is set to 40/page and topics count is set to 20/forum, as intended. Think we're good.
Kurre Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Just to get things clear. Would that mean that James G can't have 40 topics per page? Personally, i think default is ok.
Jesse Jost Posted January 22, 2019 Author Posted January 22, 2019 @James G @Kurre Sorry for the inversion, the request was to increase number of threads per page, not posts. try again (now 40 threads & 20 posts). 3

It's called a 'spoiler' to make one you need to put text in between tags [.SPOILER]spoiler text[./SPOILER] Remove the periods before SPOILER and /SPOILER - had to use them otherwise you would not have seen code. Here's an example: Ah you see me now! Edited January 22, 2019 by TheSteven 2
scook Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 The new "Fluid" layout is nice Thanks for adding it
kitekrazy Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Will the mods do their job of eliminating political jabs in a quick way and ignore their own political feelings? They are not allowed in other forums or have a section for it (yawn). The previous site was great for this.
Jim Fogle Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I like the idea of having separate forum sections for beginner and experienced DAW users. I'd also suggest an intermediate user section but that's more difficult for reaching a decision of which section to start a new topic. Beginner and experienced DAW users have very different needs and questions.
