Jacques Lelièvre Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 SInce 2022.11 The TTS-1 module records but does not input echo while recording. Known new bug ?
Jacques Lelièvre Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 It seems to be only on one particular song, will delete 1 track at a time to try to solve the mystery...
Jacques Lelièvre Posted December 5, 2022 Author Posted December 5, 2022 OK, It seems the tempo change on my tune affectgs the TTS-1 and prevents from input echoing during recording. Other Soft synths are fine... Can record before tempo change just fine, but not after... Strange......
reginaldStjohn Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Send in the project to Cakewalk support (Support@cakewalk.com) and maybe they can figure out why it would do that?
David Baay Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I'm not immediately finding the thread reference, but I recall something like this being reported about TTS-1 in the past. You might try increasing/decreasing your MIDI Prepare Using buffer. I believe the default is 50ms and both too low or excessively high can cause issues. And be sure to insert TTS-1 in the Synth Rack rather than in the FX bin of an audio track. Not many users doing the latter any more, but I mention it because it can also cause issues like this.
sjoens Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) Why would someone put a synth in the FX Rack and what type of track? Edited December 12, 2022 by sjoens
