Midi standards

What a mess the Midi TRS world is.  Try going on Amazon and looking for the right cable.  I see three options A, B, and Audio ??  Half the listings don't even show what type they are.  Lucky me I needed both A and B.  I thought I had it covered but no ... my Line6 A cable is smaller than 1/8".  Now I need 3 cables.  Special thank you to Korg, Boss, and Line6.

 

Standards, we love them.  That's why we have so many of them!

What about "Universal Serial  Bus"? What is Universal about the half dozen different cable connections?

Is it me ... or with what should be a 50/50 chance for a USB plug in, I get 100% wrong on the first 2 tries.

Exactly - it's all quantum.  USB connectors are spin 1/2 objects ?
