...played many bass over the years he lived. Including a few Alembics. Just saw this pic of him playing the (alleged) model I have.

apparently he collected basses like some collect vsts, believe they were auctioned off at some point after his death.

Geddy Lee's book of basses  has more pages. John's 248 vs. Geddy's 405.

 

I have Geddy's book. It's flawed. It has 8 pages that are duplicated that replace 8 pages missing (based on pages numbers).

somebody must have ripped out the centerfolds.

and assuming Geddy must have had at least one Alembic in there...

I wonder if he had a Mediterranean Blue Fender Squire Precision bass guitar?
If he did, I could be like him.
