Jim Fogle
Hello @solarlux. When the time ruler selection is set to M:B:T, measures, or bars as you called them, and beats are always displayed.

I believe they are painfully aware of that. I think they want to display only the measures, no further divisions. The only help I can offer is to try some of the custom color presets that come with my themes. You don't have to use the theme, just import the color prefs. They provide for higher contrast vertical grid lines in Track View, especially on measures. They can be further adjusted to make the beat lines more difficult to see. Here's one of my dark theme color presets applied to Tungsten: 1
Xoo
I have no idea if this works, but can you set time signature to 1/4?
mgustavo
Hi, maybe solarlux could zoom out Time Ruler a bit to hide M:B:T numbers. ?

user 905133
For what its worth, 12/8 with different horizonal zoom settings. The down side of using 8ths is the metronome. I would prefer variable ping intervals (e.g., 12/8 with a ping every 3 or 4 beats), but its not that critical because I can use a drum-based metronome. You can use any kind of supported Time Rulers in both views. That's not the point because there is no proper way to show only Bars in the Cakewalk. There is M:B:T. Means Measure Beat Tick. No Measure only Time Ruler is supported. Edited August 25, 2022 by murat k.
rfssongs
When I right click on the time ruler & choose the last item in that list (Time Ruler Format) , then choose M:B:T I get just bar lines.
