One of my favs

In today's economy I'd not be rich but I might be able to build a workable recording studio on our .27 acre lot.

I've always felt that I'd worry that I would end up broke if I had "only" one million.  More so than with just a somewhat decent, average income.

Having money is expensive.

That being said, in this economy, I'm not sure one million should be considered money. I'd probably start worrying at around 20-30 millions...

At least you'd be able to have a nice comfortable chair to be miserable in.

Doughnut round the hole and all that.......

Fame in-and-of itself doesn't bring happiness.

I'm sure it's the same for extreme wealth.

I know with some of our "Industry" clients, they face the same day-to-day issues/challenges/stress.

Just on a larger scale...

Begrudging is fundamentally flawed, if not serious, behaviour - rationalisation is definitely generally easier.

We have had two customers that won nice size multi million lotto jackpots and within several years spent most of it all. Sadly it wasn't with us :(

I'm thinking if you just put 25% in an index fund you most likely be set.  For both winners take home check after taxes were over 4 million dollars!
