I have a way to get it out in seconds. Developed the technique when I first learned to play many many years ago.

I think they're implying that the guitar should still be usable afterward though... ?

It will be. No damage whatsoeva!!!

In fact, I always keep a spare pick inside my box guitar. JIC.

I know how to get it out with no issue.

I never realized it was a problem for everyone.  I just assumed that everyone had thier own way of doing it.

My solution? An archtop instead of a flat top :D

I never had an issue.  Just turn the guitar upside-down and gently "bounce" the pick up and down inside the guitar until it falls out.  YMMV! ?

Yes, just turn guitarbwith the bout down, wiggle it till the pick is in line with sound hole, and then flip it with sound hole down and pick falls right out.

We learned this song in the 1980s, and for some reason, people still want to hear it a lot.

I don't mind, I wish I had a hundred songs that worked this well with the audience. :D

One place I worked had a manager who had this huge earworm on a Barry Manilow song; it drove him nuts!  This was back in the day of pagers which just sent a message, but you couldn't tell from who.  We waited until he was in a meeting and texted him "Her name was Lola..."  After the meeting he came running around all the offices demanding to know who the smarta ss was but couldn't tell because we were all laughing.  ?
