EZ Drummer 3 - Cakewalk BUG

Not a big deal but if I open EZD3 with  "Instrument Track per output" selected, if I select all 16 tracks and delete. Cakewalk closes every time. I can recreate this forever.  Like I said, not a big deal because i usually do not do this but here it is if anyone cares.

 

Update, I selected a range of EZ Drummer tracks (not all of them) and it also crashed.  I cannot reproduce this every time but its about 50/50

Even with the update, I think there is still something amiss with EZD 3. I notice that EZD3 doesn't always go back the to starting measure  when you start and stop the transport (if go back is enabled.) . Sometimes it doesn't even restart. If I can nail down a consistent issue I will post on the Toontrack forum. But there is little the Cakewalk developers can do about it.

If you have a dump file, you can open it in notepad, ignore the gibberish and towards the top end you will find the offending module listed if the crash was in a module/plugin. It looks like this and might give you some indicate on what is going on or if the issue appeared in Cakewalk itself.

Sending the dmp to the developers might let them give you a bit more insight to what is happening.

@TVR PRODUCTIONS - please send the minidump file after it crashes to @Jonathan Sasor. This should tell us exactly where the issue is happening.

This just happened again after deleting a bunch of EZ Drummer 3 tracks.  I just clicked on @Jonathan Sasor and it brought me to another page. I tried attaching the minidump file but would not let me attach anything larger than 4 mb. My minidump is 15 mb.

They've updated EZ Drummer to 3.0.3, so try that one to see if it helps.

I've had the same problem with the first version, and I had to do a lot of dancing around to be able to assign different outs to separate CW tracks, and managed to do it with rerouting to unused outs, internally, route the intended ones to CW, then reroute back to them internally, so on. But I believe the latest release solved that problem.
