charles kasler
Does this matter? I haven't exported yet. If it creates a long silence at the end, how do I delete the gain after the song end? thanks.
scook
In CbB, projects end where there is no more data to the right on the timeline. This could be considerably different than what users consider the project end. Clip envelopes cannot go outside clip boundaries. Track envelopes may have nodes very far down the timeline. The best way to ensure the run length of an export is use a time-based selection like I mention here

charles kasler
I'm stuck. I've scanned the key bindings over & over & the closest thing I find to bind the command G (for clip gain) is "toggle track/clip gain" in the track view. can someone point me to the correct function to bind it to? Thank you!

Thank you! This is the correct command for switching to the clip gain. The track filter (and the automation lanes for that matter), can show many envelopes - clip gain just happens to be one of them. We added this particular shortcut for convenience, because it's a track filter that is frequently used by users. Others find it more convenient to just add an automation lane. sjoens
Clip Gain can be bounced the same as Process > Apply Effect > Gain Q: Why did all the Key binding Asterisks turn red? They were black.
