Xoo Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 As someone who's posted quite a few "spacey" tunes on here, all I can say is that this is beautiful. Well, and ask what you used for the lead synth? ? 1
bjornpdx Posted April 17, 2022 Author Posted April 17, 2022 Kevin, I used my favorite synth Arturia CS-80V and my favorite patch HVFemale (edited). -Bjorn
noynekker Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Bjorn . . . this is large and beautiful ! . . . can't ever imagine why you would give up on it, but I see now why you completed it, excellent piece, just excellence. 1
TracingArcs Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Nicely done. The pulse coming in at 1.50 helps to pick things up. Spacey indeed. 1
Byron Dickens Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) Oh, this is good. A remarkable character sketch of the star cluster. Edited April 18, 2022 by bdickens 1
Larry T. Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 well done bjorn....very nicely realized composition....would not be out of place on "Animals" or "Wish You Were Here" ???????? 1
freddy j Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 I must echo the comments above. This is spacey, atmospheric, beautiful and very well put together. You have been putting out some excellent material! Well done pal!! 1

David Sprouse Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 nice sounds, I like the way you used dynamics...and ping pong effects 1
treesha Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Very spacious and expansive and starry, enjoyed your ode to one of my fav constellations. Here in my high desert the sky is so clear, and I always enjoy when the Pleiades show up. I like your choice of instrumentation and the mix sounds great over here. 1
bjornpdx Posted April 23, 2022 Author Posted April 23, 2022 noynekker - Thanks! Really do appreciate the comment. Tracing arcs - I've used that arp theme before and maybe too many times. It's kinda Klaus Schultz-ish. bdickers - thanks! Larry T - Thanks again. Appreciate the suggestion. freddy - I was in a writer's block for a while, but starting to come out of it. Maybe it's the improving weather. Steve - thank you Kevin P - thanks for listening to my other stuff. I'm surprised at how old they're getting to be! tom - thanks David - thanks. Hey someone noticed the ping pong delay! Treesh - thanks. I'm envious of your clear skies! -Bjorn
