treesha Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 I like the guitar riff and drums, bass is cool, and the creepy mood and ominous vocals would go great in a crime movie !

Larry T. Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 nice touch you gave this one jack....humorous with the sting of truth to it....i'd bring up and/or play with the EQ on the drums and cymbals to get a bit more clarity from them ????

DeeringAmps Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I'm not sure I'd call this "weird, really weird" or "yuckie" Jack. Is it just me, or is the kick only in the left can? I'd center the kick up and you could add some 1/16 (1/32?) notes to it, it fits the genre. I'd push the vocal up a bit as well. t bang your head, metal health will drive you mad
PhonoBrainer Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Well who knows what issues need to be addressed on this one? Mix issues, I mean. What, did you think I meant something else? Guitar tones are nice and clear, and the vocals are guttural yet very discernable. It holds the listener's attention, no problem there. I'd vote for the kick on the left to merge with the kick which I think is on the right, if it's not a low tom right? Perhaps its too conventional for what you want to do here, I get that. Judging by this one, you are mixing things 1,000 times better than a year ago, it's a very clear mix so well done! cheers, -Tom 1
